Positioned within a flood zone and adjacent floodway, the South Rancharrah house required a structural elevation of two and a half feet above grade. ELD masterfully addressed this challenge, transforming it into an opportunity. Through clever grade transitions and integrated built features, we utilized the site's natural slopes and elevation changes to define distinct outdoor rooms and generate compelling landscape interest. The design is further enhanced by a carefully crafted entry sequence and a variety of living and play areas, meticulously tailored for the entire family.
