The South Rancharrah house presented unique challenges: its location within a flood zone and adjacent floodway necessitated elevating the structure two and a half feet above grade. ELD skillfully transformed this constraint into an advantage, employing artful grade transitions and built features that utilize the sloping terrain and grade differences to create engaging outdoor rooms and captivating landscape interest. The design further incorporates a thoughtful entry sequence and diverse living and play spaces, catering to the needs of the entire family.
